By car

from Hamburg

A 24 to Wittstock junction and A 19 to Rostock to Rostock junction or
A 1 to Lübeck
A 20 in the direction of Stralsund
Continue in the direction of the island of Rügen (B 96)
Before Bergen, turn right onto the B 196 to the Baltic seaside resort of Göhren

from Berlin

A 24 to Wittstock junction and A 19 to Rostock to Rostock junction or
A 11 to junction Uckermark-A 20 in the direction of Stralsund
Continue in the direction of the island of Rügen (B 96)
Before Bergen, turn right onto the B 196 to the Baltic seaside resort of Göhren

In Ostseebad Göhren

To the corner of Poststraße/Thiessower Straße
Turn left from Thiessower Straße into Friedrichstraße
At the end of Friedrichstraße, turn slightly left into Nordperdstraße

By train

The car stays at home this time and you travel relaxed and comfortably by train. Read a little, take in the scenery, get some sleep and arrive at your vacation hotel on Rügen feeling rested and relaxed.

You can get to Bergen auf Rügen or the Baltic seaside resort of Binz from any train station in Germany. From there, take a cab or local bus to Göhren. A special highlight is the journey on the historic narrow-gauge train "Rasender Roland", which takes you from Binz to Göhren.
