Musical highlight The festival spring

The Festspielfrühling on the island of Rügen is the spring festival of the Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and invites you to musical discoveries and personal concerts on Rügen over ten days in March.

Prizewinners of the Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern take over the artistic direction of the Festspielfrühling Rügen and, together with musician friends, create tailor-made programs for the island.

March 21 - 30, 2025 Festival Spring 2025

In spring 2025, percussionist Alexei Gerassimez will take over as Artistic Director. In 2006, Gerassimez and his brother, pianist Nicolai Gerassimez, won the Ensemble Prize of the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival and have been closely associated with the music festival ever since.
