Arrival By car

No stress on vacation! Your time out begins on the car train. You can reach your favorite island of Sylt in just 35 minutes via the Hindenburgdamm. Take the A7 towards Flensburg/Kiel and then follow the B199 towards Niebüll to get to the car train. Book your ticket for the red Sylt shuttle from Deutsche Bahn or the blue Sylt car train from RDC conveniently online in advance. Once you arrive in Westerland, simply follow the route to the Wyn. in Brandenburger Straße. Relax as soon as you arrive and enjoy your time on Sylt!

Choose between Deutsche Bahn regional and IC trains for your journey to Westerland. Book conveniently with Deutsche Bahn using our travel tool. Westerland train station is about 850 m away, and we will be happy to organize a cab for you. Questions about train connections? Our reception staff will be happy to help you.

You can reach Sylt in no time at all thanks to one of the many direct flights. Several airlines will take you to the island from many airports in Germany as well as Switzerland and with a short stopover from Austria. You can currently enjoy direct flights and flights with a stopover from the following airports: Hamburg, Berlin, Düsseldorf, Cologne/Bonn, Kassel, Frankfurt, Mannheim, Stuttgart, Munich, Zurich, Basel, Geneva, Salzburg and Vienna.

Arrival By ferry

The first contact with the North Sea: the journey by ferry to Sylt is an experience for young and old. With a breeze from the North Sea, you set off from Havneby/Rømø directly to List on Sylt. This journey is perfect for vacationers coming from Denmark and offers numerous advantages. Arrive on Sylt without stress? With the ferry, you can easily avoid any traffic jams on the North Sea. There are up to 32 departures per day. During the crossing, you can do your shopping and enjoy Sylt specialties at sea. Reserve your car space on the ferry in advance and experience a relaxed journey across the North Sea. Arrived relaxed with the car train? Park your vehicle directly at the Wyn. Strandhotel Sylt for € 18 / day in our public parking spaces (subject to availability). If our parking spaces are full, public parking spaces are available directly opposite the hotel for a fee. We offer two charging stations for electric cars so that you can travel in an environmentally friendly way. As a hotel guest or visitor to Sylt, you can charge your electric vehicle with us. We charge € 25 for half a day (until 3 p.m.) and € 40 for a full day (until 9 p.m.) for the use of the electric charging station.
