Not far from Sanssouci Palace, nestled between royal history and picturesque gardens, our inn Zur historischen Mühle welcomes you with timeless warmth.
Since 1908, the ensemble has shaped Potsdam's gastronomic image - once built at the behest of Kaiser Wilhelm II, lovingly restored and carefully extended architecturally. Today, the house combines a historic atmosphere with stylish cuisine and is a popular meeting place for walkers, palace visitors, families and groups of friends.
Whether an extended breakfast in the morning, a fine lunch in the Palm House or a festive reception in a private setting - here you will find space for good conversation, special hours and the little pleasures of life.
Our guesthouse in Potsdam seats around 240 people and is an ideal venue for breakfast, coffee & cake, groups, lunches, receptions, weddings, business lunches and private and business celebrations of all kinds.

Your breakfast restaurant in Potsdam Breakfast like an emperor
Fresh, regional specialties await you in a cosy atmosphere: rustic rolls and breads, fruity jams, scrambled eggs, hearty sausage, ham and cheese specialties as well as a cereal bar with yoghurt and quark variations.
Our tip: Choose other dishes and drinks from the small breakfast menu for an extra charge and round off your breakfast.
