365 days to go until the opening ALPINRESORT TRIFORÊT HINTERSTODER
Hinterstoder, 01.12.2022 - Located in the immediate vicinity of the Hössbahn mid-station, it is counting down to its opening in exactly 365 days - on December 1, 2023: The TRIFORÊT HINTERSTODER alpine resort. An alpine place of longing that merges (interior) space with open space.

The exclusive alpine resort, which sets and meets the highest standards in all areas, will be opened by the German arcona Hotels & Resorts from December 1, 2023. The Arcona Group manages several hotels in German-speaking countries, including in Kitzbühel, on Sylt, Rügen and Usedom, and stands for first-class, individual hotel service.
Paul Schwaiger, who will manage the hotel in future and currently runs the Vitalhotel Stoderhof, reveals: "I am happy to be returning to my home in Upper Austria and am very much looking forward to the exciting task of managing the new Alpinresort Triforêt in Hinterstoder. Hinterstoder in the Pyhrn-Priel region is well developed for tourism, but not overcrowded. The natural backdrop is impressive and the many possible attractions will provide guests of the new hotel with an unforgettable vacation in both summer and winter. I am delighted to become part of the arcona family!"
It is the resurrection of a traditional family business that was a fixed star in the local accommodation industry for many years. The historic hotel has been carefully revitalized and transformed into an exclusive, stylish resort of international standard. An almost magical experience in the heart of the Alps, unique and unmistakable.
And while the ski season will already be in full swing at the middle station and around the TRIFORÊT HINTERSTODER alpine resort, the resort is concentrating on further interior work in the main building in order to be ready for use by the end of the cold period.
The shell of the main building, including the underground car park, has been completed, the interior work has started on the drywall construction and the rough installation is being worked on at full speed. Installation of the windows began last week. No fewer than 12 fitters are currently on site to install all the windows before Christmas and make the building watertight and heatable for the winter.
The roof is already sealed and, apart from some additional work, the sheet metal cladding has also been completed. The concreting work for the lodges, which are being built around the main building, has been completed and the basement for the restaurant has been concreted - construction is progressing according to plan.
The winter season starts at the same time as the countdown in the Upper Austrian vacation region of Pyhrn-Priel and 62 kilometers of perfectly groomed slopes make the hearts of alpine skiers and snowboarders beat faster; 120 kilometers of cross-country trails at four altitudes and around 100 km of cleared winter hiking trails also make the hearts of cross-country skiers and snowshoe hikers beat faster. The peaks of the Totes Gebirge offer a magnificent panorama and the new Hössbahn cable car now takes winter holidaymakers up even faster and more comfortably.
The valley station has been relocated to the entrance to Hinterstoder, shortening the distances to and from the parking lot, while the spacious 10-seater cabins have increased capacity and reduced transport and waiting times. The new Hössbahn now takes just 6.5 minutes up to the middle station.
Alexander Winter: "We are very excited about our new project and are very much looking forward to the TRIFORÊT Alpine Resort. It sets new standards in the Upper Austrian hospitality landscape and combines the best design standards and closeness to nature at the highest level."
