Hospitality HR Award - Digitalization Bronze medal for the arcona Online Academy
Rostock/Munich, 23.11.2022 - Since 2013, the Hospitality HR Award has shown what forward-looking and employee-oriented HR concepts look like. Over 75 concepts from the hotel and catering industry were submitted this year - and arcona Hotels & Resorts made it to the podium in the digitalization category: The expert jury awarded third place to the arcona Online Academy.

"Congratulations and thanks for this award go to the entire group and to the hotel teams. Without the joint work on and with the arcona Online Academy, this award and the success of the Academy would not be possible," says Miriam Harwardt, Director Human Resources. "Our heartfelt thanks also go to Christian Voss and his team at Voss Seminare, who pursued our idea of the Online Academy with us and brought it to life. Together, we will continue to work on providing valuable training content in the arcona Online Academy in line with target groups and needs."
To date, employees of arcona Hotels & Resorts have completed 1,084 training sessions in the Online Academy, which is constantly being further developed with the ideas and suggestions of participants. The Hospitality HR Award is now to be used specifically to further strengthen the employer brand and to make further progress in the areas of recruiting and employee retention.
