Wyn Strandhotel brings new restaurant concept to Sylt Sharing dinner, casual and international
Sylt, 13.06.2023 - "Sharing Style" is the magic formula with which the Kitchen.Bar restaurant at the Wyn Strandhotel Sylt now wants to inspire not only hotel guests, but also external visitors to enjoy socializing. Inspired by surf hotspots around the world, the restaurant focuses on a casual atmosphere in which friends and family dine together, help themselves to the selected dishes of their choice in the middle of the table - and reflect on the exciting day.

Culinary journey around the world
Surfing around the world on plates and bowls - that is the culinary vision of the Kitchen.bar at the Wyn Strandhotel and its head chef René Liska. In concrete terms, this means that every evening there are three hotspots on the menu, one of which is always Sylt, another European and the third global. The international dishes are inspired by surf hotspots such as Morocco, Bali or Portugal. For each hotspot, there are several starters, different components as a main course and side dish, as well as dips and desserts. Several dishes can be ordered together with friends or the whole family and placed in bowls and plates in the middle of the table. This way, everyone can help themselves and taste to their heart's content. This also includes vegetarian and vegan dishes. "You can taste cosmopolitanism and surfer spirit here," says René Liska proudly."
Snacks in the dunes, sundowners high above the sea
Morning, noon, evening, night: Wyn's gastronomy offers delights around the clock - on the dune terrace, in the restaurant or in the night lounge high above the sea. From 12 noon to 6 p.m., the lunch menu tempts guests with uncomplicated dishes such as hot dogs, bagels and fish and chips, as well as salads and vegetarian and vegan delicacies. The children's menu spoils younger guests with their favorite dishes. Ice cream, coffee and cake round off the afternoon menu. In the evening, from 6 p.m. to 9.30 p.m., the Kitchen.Bar welcomes guests with its new sharing concept, Sylt specialties and international dishes. For sundowners, you can meet high up in the Night.lounge with a sweeping view over the sea. The bar leaves nothing to be desired until late into the night.
Regular events - live music on the terrace, barbecues every Monday and parties in the Night.Lounge - make the Wyn a meeting place on the beach where the surfer community feels just as at home as families with children and couples looking for relaxation.
The Wyn Sylt: Frisian fresh and cheerful
Only a dune separates the Wyn Strandhotel Sylt from the longest and most beautiful beach on the island. Westerland, with its lively pedestrian zone full of stores and cafés, is also just a few steps away from the hotel. The best conditions for a varied vacation at any time of year. Equipped with 72 rooms and suites, the Wyn not only scores with its privileged location, it also impresses with its inner values: The indoor panorama pool and the sauna area on the top floor, from where the view sweeps far over the North Sea, are top in every respect. Up here, in the lounge, or a few floors below, in the Wyn's living room, guests can relax in comfort and make new friends. On the terrace and restaurant, they can enjoy culinary delights with a view of the dunes. The eventful day ends with club music in the Night.lounge with a panoramic view of the island and the North Sea.
