Crazy kitchen Stefan Marquard as a guest at the Hotel Elephant Weimar
Weimar, 03.08.2020 - The traditional hotel on the market is equally at home with cultural and culinary delights: After the hotel's own multi-layered cultural program started up again in July, the hotel team is also continuing the "Elephant's Finest: A Matter of Taste" series on 19 September 2020.
.
Rethink, rethink, think ahead. Throwing the old overboard when it no longer works. Dare to try something new if it's better. Stefan Marquard has lived and cooked by these guiding principles since the start of his career. Today, he is one of the wild men of top cuisine, considered an innovative kitchen eccentric and likeable provocateur - even without the traditional chef's clothing. For over 30 years, Marquard has remained true to his principle of "Ingeniously simple - simply different", delighting guests and critics alike. The friendship with hotel director Stefan Schwind, who is of course particularly looking forward to his former colleague, has now also lasted 30 years: "Stefan's "Crazy Kitchen" fits in perfectly with the modern, tasteful style of our head chef Johannes Wallner. Guests can look forward to a surprising menu from both culinary artists that is simply fun."
Elephant's Finest Geschmackssache with Stefan Marquard will take place on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at 7 pm at Hotel Elephant Weimar, Restaurant AnnA. The price is 195 euros per person including champagne aperitif, wine accompaniment, water and coffee.
And also out of line: in order to bring hotel guests, Weimar residents and visitors into conversation with renowned and exciting wineries, the Hotel Elephant Weimar has been inviting guests to Elephant's Finest: Weintalk. Tastings, small dishes and informal get-togethers are the focus of the free events, which take place every last Thursday of the month up to and including November on the garden terrace or in the wine tasting room and will continue in 2021.
Tickets for the culinary surprise evening are available in the ticket store at hotelelephantweimar.de/ticketshop and by telephone on +49 3643 802 639 or -0
