Rostock/Sylt, 21.02.2023 - A great moment for Sylt: Christian Lohse, known as a TV chef and crowned with two stars by Guide-Michelin for many years, is paying a visit to Germany's most beautiful island - with two menus in his luggage. On Friday evening, March 3, guests can enjoy his veggie menu at the Wyn Strandhotel Sylt and on Saturday evening, March 4, Christian Lohse will be serving up a Cantonese-inspired Asian menu.
Culinary delights are particularly important at arcona Hotels and Resorts. That's why Managing Director Alexander Winter brought Christian Lohse on board as a culinary consultant in 2021. He refines the food concepts of the hotels, sharpens their gastronomic profile and organizes culinary events. The experienced chef works closely with the head chefs of the respective hotels and Managing Director Alexander Winter.

Hotspot not just for surfers
The Wyn Strandhotel Sylt is located behind the dunes, directly on the 40-kilometer-long west beach of Sylt. It is just a stone's throw away from lively Westerland and attracts not only beach vacationers but also the elite of windsurfers in the summer months. Throughout the year, the hotel attracts travelers of all ages and inclinations to the island for cycling, golfing, horse riding or walking. The 72-room hotel has a lot to offer not only outside, but also inside: One of the highlights is the indoor pool and saunas on the top floor with views of the North Sea and the coastal fringe of Westerland as far as the north of the island. Equally unique is the spa lounge on the 5th floor with its unique North Sea panorama. Guests can enjoy massages and a wide range of cosmetic treatments in two treatment rooms. In the evening, the spa area is transformed into an atmospheric night lounge where sundowners can be enjoyed to the sound of muted club music and occasionally live music.
